Hi! I’m Ashton Barron and I am the founder and president of Paws For Paul Inc. I am a Veterinary Assistant at VCA and avid pet lover with a passion for all things furry and four legged. My journey creating Paws For Paul Inc has been one of sadness and success. I lost my father, Paul, in October of 2020 tragically to a cancer called Multiple Myeloma. I have spent all my time since creating this legacy in his honor combining a love for animals and my dad all into one. My entire life has been dedicated to loving and caring for animals whether that be professionally or at home.
I am so pleased to see each and every one of you visiting my webpage and taking your time to know what Paws For Paul Inc is all about. Special needs pets can be so easily overlooked and discarded which makes the rehoming process so difficult. Here, with us, I want everyone to know that every pet deserves a second chance no matter what deficits life has thrown at them. It is important to know the dog in the back that cannot hear, see, or walk is always first in line with us. I am determined to make “the lost ones” my number one priority while also backing our researchers for Multiple Myeloma awareness. I believe there will be a cure for one of the most aggressive forms of cancer I have ever witnessed firsthand and I want to be a part of helping find that cure.
I have been in numerous different job roles in my time, but none have been better than those spent at the clinic helping patients and learning so much about canine and feline medicine. I began my professional career at VCA Terrell Mill Animal Hospital in 2018 and have found it to be my “home away from home”. I aspire to return to school to become an RVT and continue my education in veterinary medicine. I am a fulltime pet parent to two dogs and two cats. If you see me outside of work, I am probably with a dog or cat somewhere doing something animal related.
Thank you again for visiting! If you are interested in keeping those tails wagging, please feel free to contact me directly to find out how you can help too!.
